For a campaign that shows significant success and innovation in fundraising. Specific innovative ideas and new treatments of current fundraising techniques will also be considered, as will the adoption of existing practice in a new and innovative fashion, or in a sector where that practice has hitherto been little used.

Eligibility:

Any organisation which has a CHY number may win this award, i.e. organisations regarded as charitable by the Revenue Commissioners.

This award is intended for organisations which have run fundraising campaigns over the last 12 - 15 months.  Organisations can nominate themselves or be nominated by others. 

Sub-Categories:

This award will be offered in two sub-categories:

  1. Small to medium organisations - defined by their organisation's annual income in 2008 being less than €500,000
  2. Medium to large organisations - defined by their organisation's annual income in 2008 being greater than €500,000.

Criteria specific to this category:

  • This award is intended for organisations which have run fundraising campaigns over the last 12 - 15 months.
  • Organisations can nominate themselves or be nominated by others.
  • The judges will award marks for innovation, communications and effectiveness in terms of funds as well as profile raised.
