 The Wheel and Fundraising Ireland are proud to announce the shortlist for the 2009 National Fundraising Awards. A panel of independent judges will now select a winner in each category, and the winners will be announced a special awards ceremony at Dublin's Four Seasons Hotel on Tuesday, 20 October.

 Nominations have now closed for the 2009 National Fundraising Awards.
A panel of independent judges is currently reviewing all eligible nominations and a shortlist will be published in due course. The winners will be announced at a special ceremony at Dublin’s Four Seasons Hotel on Tuesday, 20 October. The Awards will be presented by RTÉ television personality, Mary Kennedy. - Ruth Findlater, former Director of Development with the Irish Heart Foundation
- Niall O’Sullivan, Community Foundation for Ireland
- Peter Ireton, Bóthar (and winner of the inaugural Fundraisers of the Year award in 2008)
